Luxurious Suites and Courtyard Bedrooms
Platte River Fort Resort & Event Center has four luxury guest suites, three courtyard bedrooms and two upper courtyard rooms, accommodating up to 27 overnight guests. The carefully selected furnishings and décor combine indulgent comfort and charm with a mix of contemporary designs, antiques and art.

Premium Suites
Our suites on the first and second floors are named after the rivers that feed into the nearby South Platte River.
South Platte Suite
This lower-level suite houses one king bed and one twin trundle bed, both featuring Beauty Rest pillow top mattresses. With décor inspired by our resident longhorns, this carpeted, ADA-compliant suite has a walk-in/roll-in shower, roomy walk-in closet, and a flat-screen television. Sleeps up to 4 guests.
St. Vrain Suite
This upper-level suite offers two queen beds with Beauty Rest pillow top mattresses and a breathtaking view Colorado’s Front Range and the grazing longhorn cattle along the river. The space features a full bath with tub and shower, and a flat-screen television. Sleeps up to 4 guests.
Courtyard Bedrooms
Named after the Platte River feeder creeks, these three rooms have windows that open to our inviting interior courtyard. They share the men’s and women’s bathrooms with showers, located just down the hall on the lower level.
Upper Courtyard Rooms
Our upper courtyard rooms, located on the upper level, are also named after the meandering creeks that feed into the nearby South Platte River. Each is furnished with rugged beds and denim comforters. The rooms have wood floors, rough cut wood walls, and timber ceilings. 3/4 bathrooms on the second level are available for use by guests in our upper courtyard rooms.

What amenities are offered?
Suite guests will have full access to the inside of the main fort (kitchen excluded). There is a large dining room, 2 lounge areas with comfy leather furniture, TV’s in each suite as well as in the lounge areas, plus there are shared outdoor firepits.
Do any rooms have a fireplace?
No. There are 2 lounges downstairs that have fireplaces to utilize, with comfy leather sofas and chairs
Do you provide an iron and ironing board?
Yes, but not in every room.
Do you provide a hair dryer?
No
Do the rooms have thermostat control?
Yes
Do you provide robes?
No
Do any rooms have a refrigerator or a kitchenette?
All of our suites have a mini fridge in the room and a coffee maker.
Do you allow pets?
Pets are not allowed in the Main Fort Building (including the suites and courtyard rooms).
What is your cancellation policy?
Time of booking to 21 days out: Cancellation fee of 20%
22 days to 8 days out: 50% refunded
7-0 days out: No Refund
