Colorado Glamping

Love the outdoors but don’t want to give up all of the comforts of home? Instead of tent camping try “glamping” in one of our beautiful yurts!  Camping in a yurt is a unique and fun way to experience the outdoors and reconnect with nature. Yurts are circular, domed structures made of canvas and wooden poles. They provide a comfortable shelter to sleep in and are more spacious than a tent.

At Platte River Fort, we have 5 yurts to choose from. And don’t worry about bringing your sleeping bag – each yurt comes with one or more beds, depending on which one you choose. Yurts are available from mid-May to mid-October, so book yours today!

Yurt rental sites are allowed 1 tent to sleep an additional 4 people max for an additional $30/night. Additional sleeping options (sleeping bags, blow up beds/cots) are allowed in the 2-person yurts to accommodate up to 4 guests total. Yurt capacity cannot exceed 4 people unless approved by Platte River staff before visit.
