Each couple is different and each wedding, unique. This is why we offer three novel ceremony sites for your perfect day. Choose between a modern farmhouse themed barn, an upper patio with views of the Rocky Mountains, or our lush southern tree grove with views of our river bottom pasture and herd of Texas longhorns. After the ceremony, venture over to the cozy farmhouse style barn or the upscale Platte River Fort Courtyard for your classic, chic, and spacious reception.

Bent’s Barn
A beautiful 3,264 square foot barn illuminated with Edison lights, Bent’s Barn offers the perfect location for your wedding reception. The space can accommodate up to 200 guests and is equipped with heat for those cold Colorado days. Couples have access to a high definition projector and an 80” drop down screen to showcase photos and videos. Step outside and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains and Longs Peak, all while sitting beside a cozy fire pit.
Platte River Fort’s Elegant Courtyard
Platte River Fort is proud to house another beautiful site for intimate reception or rehearsal dinners. Seating up 50 guests inside and 150+ in the courtyard, this space is perfect for small-to-medium gatherings of wedding party members, families, and guests. Enjoy a view of the Front Range from an open-air courtyard, roomy porch, and patios.

Bliss Wedding Package

- Brides Dressing room and lounge, for use prior to the ceremony

- Time may be broken up to allow for decorating before your off premise ceremony

Intimate Wedding Package and Ceremony Package
These packages are available for any remaining dates three months in advance or less. They can be booked on any day from January-March.
Intimate Wedding Package
- 6 hour ceremony and reception package
- 1 hour decorating time, 4 hour ceremony/reception time, 1 hour clean up time.
- Package includes 50-85 guests
- Use of Tree grove ceremony site with wood benches, arch, and whiskey barrels.
- Use of Bent’s Barn for your reception
- Bride and Groom lounge areas for use prior to the ceremony
Elopement Special
- 4 hour ceremony/reception package
- 1 hour decorating time, 2 hour cocktail reception, 1 hour clean up time
- Package includes 50 – 85 guests
- Use of tree grove ceremony site, with wood benches, arch, and whiskey barrels
- Use of our Elegant Courtyard or Bent’s Barn for your cocktail reception
- Bride and Groom lounge areas for use prior to the ceremony
Our Love Stories
Platte River Fort was the perfect setting for a rustic, beautiful wedding. The ceremony outdoor space is well kept and so beautiful. The rustic barn was clean and well tended and so beautiful, especially when the sun went down and the lights were shining. The staff was superb. Many of our guests commented on the venue and how it made the wedding so enjoyable. The outdoor space offers games for the children, fire pits, as well as many different areas for guests to gather and sit. We had a wonderful experience.
BEST VENUE EVER! My husband and I had our wedding at the Fort this weekend and Cindy was exceptional, kind, and so easy to work with. She really took care of us and went above and beyond to make our day special. The whole staff was amazing and the venue is always so well-kept and absolutely stunning! You definitely get a bang for your buck at the Fort. 10/10 recommend
