Hank’s Bar & Grill
Hank DeJong, the namesake of our bar & grill, was exactly the kind of man you think of when you think of a larger-than-life western rancher & dairyman. He & Nadine, his wife of 57 years, owned DeJong Dairy in Kersey from 1969 to 2001. They raised their family — Vickie, Dori, Terri, Stacey & Josh & numerous foster children — on the farm, & all of them could count on finding dad in the stands or audience, with coffee & donuts in tow, for every athletic & school function. Hank knew all of his children’s favorite donut variety & often surprised them with a sweet morning breakfast treat. He started nearly every morning with a cup of coffee & a donut at the meeting place of the moment. It also meant time to catch up or a moment to just sit & enjoy whatever was in front of him. We think that is worth honoring, so we offer good coffee & a nice spot to sit & enjoy your company & the view. We looking forward to seeing you soon!
